YOUTH FIRST VALUES

1- Passion

In its essence, Youth First is first and foremost a philosophy, a state of mind before being an organization. Passion is the first source of energy that motivates and engages the members of the organization around its mission. A value that pushes Youth First to always go beyond its limits and inspires it in its mission with the conviction that young people have the potential to become agents of positive change for their community.

2- Integrity

Integrity is the value that helps Youth First uphold the highest standards of ethical behavior and act with honesty to inspire respect and trust at all times.

3- Excellence and Professionalism

Excellence and professionalism are Youth First's values to perform the duties entrusted to it in a manner that meets the expectations of itself, its employees, and all stakeholders, and to make every effort to continually improve its performance.

4- Equity

Youth First is committed to ensuring that all program participants and employees of the organization benefit equally from participation in the organization's activities regardless of background, culture, religion, gender or political persuasion. Each Youth First employee will refrain from committing or facilitating acts of discrimination or harassment against any person with whom he or she comes in contact in the course of his or her duties.

5- Loyalty

Loyalty to Youth First means acting at all times in the best interests of the organization and not for personal or private gain or financial gain. Before engaging in any activity outside of Youth First, consultation with the management team is necessary to ensure that the activity will not affect the STAFF's performance of its contract or create a conflict of interest within Youth First.

6- Humility

As a youth-led organization working for the noble cause of youth development, Youth First must engage with its partners and participants in a simple, open-minded manner, adapting to their needs and values without sacrificing its values. Always be open and constantly seek to improve and serve with humility.

7- Benevolence

In today's violent world, caring is more important than ever to maintain a healthy, quality relationship with employees, participants in Youth First programs, and other stakeholders. Caring begins with oneself, where STAFFs are encouraged to maintain their well-being as they work toward the organization's goals and complete their tasks. Caring for others is simply giving others the space, respect and attention they deserve. Through this value, Youth First wants to convey the fact that the development of an organization over time is directly linked to the personal development of its employees.
